  • Social workers at Anchor Bay School District provide short-term crisis support for students in the building
  • We are a point of contact for community resources and referrals for professional continued therapy
  • Social Workers provide sustained support for special education students who exhibit social interaction problems
  • We network between students, teachers, parents and administration to come up with solutions
  • Examples include behavior problems, conflict with peers, low self-esteem, and adjustments to significant life changes
  • Services are provided on an individual, as well as group basis. Referrals are made to prevention services.
